Silk emerged on the runways and quickly became a favorite. The 90s comeback of silk separates also appeared again, making its way onto our beloved top models. Bella Hadid stepped out of her Paris hotel in a silk top and pants, draped off-white coat and white pointed toe heels.

Do you ever say the wrong thing? Happens to me a lot :)
Today I listed my first Bella Bunny tutorial for sale in my etsy shop! Ill be listing more of them this weekend, along with some custom sock monkeys, more fabric gift bags, and other things.
I worked so hard on this! I wanted this pattern to be really clear so that even the newest beginner could make it. I also wanted it to be attractive, fun to look at, and professional. The pattern is 9 pages and includes over 45 pictures, step by step illustrated instructions, and the full size pattern. Hopefully this is just in time for people to make for Christmas presents. One of my testers made a few Bellas in Christmas fabrics... SO cute! What a great idea!I finally started running out of scrap fabric (a friend of mine gave me a whole tub filled with fabric left over from quilts she had made!) so I had to buy some more... here is a sneak preview of some of the new Bellas that will be for sale soon!
Tomorrow we have a busy day... Kade is starting swimming lessons (in the 3 month-3 year old class, because he wont get in the water without me!) and then we have a birthday party, and after that, Jer and I are going out with some friends, sans kids! Its been a while!

The leopard coat is a supermodel off-duty favorite. Taking cues from Kate Moss, Bella Hadid stepped out in a belly-baring black t-shirt, black jeans, and black heeled boots, letting the coat do all the talking. She accented with a logo belt, gold choker necklace, and oversized sunglasses. Perfection.

Bella Vista
Bella Vista
Bella Vista. Its Italian for "beautiful sight" so I couldnt think of better name for this neighborhood. Its picturesque, dotted by colorful murals and mosaics on nearly every corner. Danielle and I grabbed our new pal Gogo to soak up the local color at Rally, the neighborhoods newest gem.
We sipped our brews and admired the interior. Great coffee, great design, what else do you need in a little café? We even split a donut. Three ways. (Yes, they have vegan donuts. Glory be!)
Après coffee, we headed out and explored the neighborhood a bit. Of course we all had to stop in front of this Isaiah Zagar piece and snap a few photos. (Okay, a lot.) While we were taking these photos, a man walked by with an octopus in a tupperware container. Oh, Philadelphia. 
Before heading home, we made one more stop at Starr Garden park. This mural reminds me of the tessellations we used to do in school-- can you see it? Of course it caught my eye. Even on an overcast day, this neighborhood is so lovely. If youre in town, head over to Rally, grab an almond milk cappuccino, then take a leisurely stroll.
