We decided to not post the holiday photos by days, plus we changed the order also. Since we decided to post every weekday in October (lets hope we will manage), we want to stick to a plan. Anyway, these photos were taken in Belgrade (Serbia). We went to Montenegro with friends but since we were in Budapest we decided to meet up in Serbia. So we took the train in the middle of the refugee crisis from Budapest to Belgrade. It was an interesting trip I must say.
Lets talk about Belgrade! Have you ever been there? This was our first time. We would say we are dissapointed but we didnt really expect much. Safe to say, I would never go back. If you feel Romania is a poor and sad place to live, well I am 100x times happier here now. You can really feel the post-communist vibe, there are still bombed buildings from the Kosovo war. Although people look kind of fashionable and neat, the city is ugly. I named it the AC capital. Why? Because every freaking building has at least 100 air conditioners. And the wierdest thing is that Sarajevo is a freaking amazing place! I really want t go back there! And they started from the same level. Unfortunately we didnt take photos in Sarajevo because we arrived there late. But if you are near Sarajevo, just visit it, you will not regret! Its a multicultural place with lots of cheap and fun places!!!
PS: These were our travel outfits. We arrived to Belgrade, left our luggage at the left-luggage office, took our valuables and just went to explore the city. On the bright side, Belgrade has a Vapiano!!!
