As talked about in a previous post the Baseball Research Journal volume 36 containing the article by Neal Williams and myself on quantifying third base coaches is now available. One of the articles you may want to check out is "An Analysis of the Gyroball" by Alan Nathan and David Baldwin wherein they do an analysis similar to the one I did back in July in my Schrodingers Bat column (no subscription required).
