Best Nepali Movies you must watch !!
Best Nepali Movies you must watch !!
Well talking about Nepali movies , there are many Nepali movies which I have watched in my past days. I am fond of Nepali movies to some extent. But since Nepali movies quality has been largely degraded, I rarely go to cinema for Nepali movies these recent days. Hindi movies and English movies has taken the market of Nepali movies even in Nepal these days due to very low quality of our own Nepali films and cinemas which certainly need to be upgrade for attracting more Nepali audiences who are likely to taste the movies like Loot , Sano Sansar , kaagbeni etc. The new generation movies has to be yet served to Nepali audiences.
Ok now lets goto our main topics. I have watched many Nepali movies and among them some of the best movies I liked are as follows. The list might contains old as well new Nepali cinemas.
1. SANO SANSAR:

While watching movie , it gives little impression of Korean movie sassy gal but it is superb Nepali movie. If you have not watched this movie till now , please go for it. Go and get yourself a DVD and enjoy the movie.
The lead actors are Karma , Namrata Shrestha , Nir Shah and so on. I find the music of the movie is awesome as well. I just loved this movie very much.
Below is the songs from the Sano Sansar. Please have a look.
2. LOOT :

When I watched this movie , I was very much fascinated by the funny dialogues and scenes in the movie. I watched this movie after my college. I was in happy mood the whole day. Every thing in the movie was awesome and funny. The movie gives the environment of typical Nepal. That;s why all audience love this movie and it was a huge hit in Nepal. The movie lead role is played by Saugat Malla who is named Haku Kale in the movie. Other actors in the movie are Dayang Rai , Karma etc. This movie made Haku Kale a huge star along with Dayang Rai. Both has a great role in the movie with their best acting so far.
The item song "Udreko Choli" in the movie sang by Indira joshi with dance of glamourous Sushma Karki was a great hit among the audience. It was on every mobile of people at that time playing all day and night.
The trailor of the movie is below. Please have a look guys.
3. SAAYAD
This is the movie based on teenagers with drug addiction. When I watched this film I was touched by the story and music. The rocking music by shadows was a great plus point and this music bond the audience in the whole film. In the beginning I thought it wont be a good movie but this movie slowly picked up its height and was very much good one. The role by Takme Budo "Wilson Bikram Rai" is very much nice with a lot of humor. The trailor of the movie Saayad is below. Please have a look guys:
Ok , These are some of the Best Nepali movies I have liked and watched. If you have more suggestion please comment your best movies till far you have watched with reason. I would love to watch your choice movie as well. I will be adding more old movies in my next blog . Thanks for reading and visiting my blog. Have a nice day !!

be the change download for you
be the change download for you

The recent events here in the United States have left me sad, disgusted, horrified, discouraged and downright angry that this is the world we live in. As I white woman married to a man of color, I know that we live in a world that is broken by hate, violence and systemic racism. I have no idea how I fit into change but I am starting by posting here that I am ready and willing contribute in any way that I can. I dont want to be silent, I dont want to be neutral and I DONT want to spend one more day afraid to speak out. All I know is there is movement, power and change in UNITY and I want to be a part of that unity!
Download this coloring page. Print it out, color and take a moment to reflect on how you can be part of change.

Betty When You Call Me You Can Call Me
Betty When You Call Me You Can Call Me
I have a not-close colleague that I call a name that is structurally similar to but not actually "Allen." I call him "Allen" because all his other colleagues call him "Allen." Plus, when we first met, he introduced himself to me as "Allen."
However, there are two people I know who Ive heard refer to him in conversations as "Al." Both these people happen to hold important positions in funding agencies from which Allen gets money. I wonder if its that "Allen" says "Call me Al" to these people, or, if funding people spontaneously decide to start calling you by the nickname form of your name, you dont correct them.
Next time I meet somebody who could be financially helpful for my projects, Im walking straight up and introducing myself as "Scar."

Be careful what you feed yourself
Be careful what you feed yourself
Hi there.
Thanks for popping in.
Wednesday already again! Wowee, this week is flying by!!
Wednesday.
The day when we talk about matters of the matters of the soul...
Had a terrible nights sleep last night.
Couldnt sleep a wink.
Too much cheese before bedtime?
Nope.
Too much caffeine?
Nope.
Too much sugar?
Nope. Ice cream doesnt count.
I know EXACTLY what I did wrong.
I watched a really emotional film after 9.
Me Before You
It was about a young man who ended up completely paralysed from the neck down because of an accident.
He then made the decision to go to Switzerland and end his life with Dignitas, assisted suicide.
Its about his relationship with a young woman in the final months, and I am guessing it was supposed to be uplifting.
NOT.
And how I howled. Couldnt stop crying. Went to bed choked.
Lay there all night, thinking about the man, the parents,
about the girl,
about the whole sad story really.
So, what have I learned?
Do NOT watch sad films which will wrench at your heart just before bedtime!
Am I the only one who reacts like this?
I know I am super sensitive and am sure most people wouldnt lose sleep over a fiction story.
If we are creatives, then we probably see things in brighter colour and feel things more deeply, dont you think?
But is sensitivity a weakness?
It robbed me of my sleep
because I fed my imagination just before bed.
Never a smart move!
But actually, I am really glad to be sensitive - even though it can bite me in the derriere quite frequently. I just have to be careful what I expose myself to.
No Horror films.
No war.
No Violence.
No Kinky psycho shit.
In fact, I am a nightmare when it comes to films!
We went to see Bridget Jones last week; thats about my speed!
Books are better; you can control the imagery impact better.
Having said that, I have howled over books too....

Do you have strong intuition?
Do you sense things which others around you are oblivious to?
Me too.
Theres a very fine line between joy and despair some days, dont you find? I have to be very careful not to fuel a negative.
Say something bad happens. If I dwell on it and give it energy, it gathers momentum, and gets bigger and bigger and bigger.
So I have to keep it all quite simple, and
not buy into somebody elses ranting either.
Years ago, I used to wake up to John Humphrys on Radio 4 .
I had to change over to Classic Radio.
His constant barking and negative grind used to get under my skin to the point where I was in a bad mood before I had even cleaned my teeth!
I would rather take a blast of Tchaikovskys 1812 Overture complete with cannons at 6 in the morning
than let him get in my head!
Anyway.
Enough rambling.
I guess what I am trying to say is that I have to watch what I feed myself.
And I dont just mean food.
Love & Hugs,
Barb

BeFearless Your Stories on How You Live Fearlessly
BeFearless Your Stories on How You Live Fearlessly

I am very excited that today is the day you guys share your story on how you live fearlessly. Fearless is the new project I am working on; and I wanted to take it beyond my story. It does not matter who you are or where you are from, we all should live fearlessly. I want my blog to be always be a place where one can find hope and inspiration. My big journey is about losing weight and truly finding my purpose in life. I am currently overcoming a lot of obstacles as well. Reading other stories of how people overcame afflictions and pain, really keep me going when I am pessimistic and doubting everything I work for. And trust me, it does happen. Sometimes it all takes is that little drop of inspiration to completely turn your day around; and I hope you can find that here.
This is a special linkup; it does not end. Your stories will be displayed on my Fearless page and on the #BeFearless Project blog.
If you have a blog: write a blog post, add the below picture, on your blog and link it up - include the title of your story on the link up. You can add your story on this blog entry, my Fearless page, or on the #BeFearless Project blog.
If you do not have a blog: email me your story along with 1-3 pictures (optional), what you want the title of your story to be, and way(s) readers of your stories can contact you (optional). I will then extract the information you provided, create a post on the #BeFearless Project blog, and link your post.
If you have not written your story yet or you are just now currently starting to live it, you can always link up at a later time. Its never too late to live fearlessly.

Beds in Front of Windows Yes You Can!
Beds in Front of Windows Yes You Can!

| {The Hunted Interior} |
Yes! You can pull it off! I did it, and you can too!
I mentioned at the end of Mondays post that I would share some examples and I have some great ones to show you today, but lets talk about the "why" first. Furniture placement is so important to the flow, function, and look of a room, and sometimes doing something that might seem a little unconventional ends up working best.
Typically, beds are positioned against walls, right? Sure, but what if your bedroom is small (hello city living!), every wall has windows (not a bad problem!), or if it just feels right? Then it might be time to break that rule and push that bed up against the windows. To make it feel less awkward and purposeful, frame the bed with curtains or other window treatments, choose a headboard (or dont) that you love, flank the bed with pretty side tables, and hang mirrors if you can. Dont forget to hang those curtains high and wide, friends! When done well, all of a sudden, that bed under the windows becomes the beautiful focal point and youve got yourself a winner of a bedroom.
Lets take a look at some of the pretty examples I grabbed from around the web:

Bananas About You
Bananas About You
What do you do when you have 4 large ripe bananas? Make banana bread of course! My husband has been asking me to make banana bread for a while, so I thought this would be a sweet little treat for him with his coffee in the morning.

Here is my recipe:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
In a large bowl or Kitchen Aid type mixer add:
1 C flour
2/3 C sugar
1/2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp baking powder
Mix well then add
1 C mashed ripe bananas
1/3 C shortening
2 eggs
2 Tbls 2% milk
1/2 tsp vanilla
Mix all ingredients until blended well then add
3/4 C flour
Mix again until blended well.
I used a mini loaf pan that I got from William Sonoma (seriously in love with this pan BTW) which I sprayed with a little cooking spray (Pam) then added a sheet of parchment that I cut to fit up the long sides of each section. Fill each mini pan approximately 3/4 full and bake for 20-25 minutes. Be sure to test with a toothpick, if it pulls out clean get them out. I let these cool for a bit then stick them all in a large ziploc bag so they dont dry out.
If you use a regular sized loaf pan, grease add parchment if you like (not necessary though) and fill pan with batter. Bake for 50-55 minutes and check.

To go along with this recipe I created some little tags that you can attach for your special someone, maybe for Valentines day??? Download your tags HERE!!
Hugs,
Pam
